DAILY GRACE THURS. 26TH JAN, 2017 RETURN TO HIM 3 HOSEA 14: 2 Glory to God of all grace for the gift of another day of divine lifting for you and your family. May you experience unusual favour this day in Jesus' name. "Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices of our lips." As we make further discovery on the above verse, we shared yesterday that you must not only take words with you but must turn to the Lord inwardly in your heart, and outwardly in your conduct, character and lifestyle. God of all grace is please and able to put words into your mouth, to teach you what to say as you return. The kind of words recommended to you to say to the Lord are listed below: 1.) Petitioning Words: Two basic things you are meant to petition for are; (a.) be acquitted from guilt of iniquity. When you return to the Lord you must say to Him, Lord, take away all my iniquity. (b.) To be accepted as righteous in God’s sight by saying receive us graciously and my prayer graciously; be well pleased with that good which by your grace we are enabled to do. 2. Promising words. These are not to move God, or to oblige Him to show you mercy, but to move, and oblige yourself to the returns of duty. Principal things you are to promise and vow are thanksgiving (fruit of your lips), amendment of your lifestyle and covenant of new obedience to the Lord. 3.) Pleading words: These words are meant to plead for the loving kindness of the Father, and divine help to live above sins. For in Him the fatherless find mercy. With your pleading word, you can access unhinder flow of His mercy. Friend, check and examine where needed to return to Jesus Christ with the above words so that you can be received graciously.
