DAILY GRACE WEDS. 25TH JAN, 2017 RETURN TO HIM 2 HOSEA 14: 2 Top of a new day to you, every limitation you might have experienced before now shall give way for you by His grace. No evil will hold you back, nothing deadly will keep you bound in the name of Jesus Christ. " Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity; receive us graciously, for we will offer the sacrifices of our lips." Having established yesterday that repentance is a great decision, for it brings you quite up to the throne of grace and glory. Let's make a further progress to study the next verse in order to see how we must return to the Lord and what must we take along to the Lord as we return to the God of all grace. The basic instructions was given on how to repent and return. You must consider what to say to God when you come or return to Him.Take with you words. From the scripture above you are required to bring, not sacrifices and offerings, but penitential prayers and supplications, the fruit of your lips, yet not of the lips only, but of the heart. There must be words as proceed from what is spoken first in the inner man; the heart must dictate to the tongue. You must take good words with you by taking good thoughts and good affections. Those who master a subject are seldom at a loss for language, when you come to God you should consider what you have to say to Him; for, if you come without an errand, you are likely to go without an answer. (Ezra 9:10) You may probably ask what exactly shall l say while in returning to Him? You must take with you words from the scripture, not from friends or your bishop, take such words from from the Spirit of grace and supplication, who teaches us to cry, Abba, Father, and makes intercession in us. You must not only take words with you but must turn to the Lord inwardly in your heart, and outwardly in your conduct, character and lifestyle. To be continued... Enjoy your day!
