FORAKEN ME

DAILY GRACE SAT. 21ST JAN, 2017 FORSAKEN ME JEREMIAH 2:13 Beloved, happy weekend to you. God of all grace will grant you a heart that seeks after God in Jesus name. "For my people have done two evil things. They have forsaken me- the fountain water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!" You need to do an evaluation of yourself this day. Look inward to see those areas of your life where you have gone after other gods. Our God is a merciful God, yet a jealous God. He want us to stay clear of idolatry because it a mockery of the Almighty God. You must decide in your heart, this year that; a.) I will serve God Almighty alone in all my dealing. b.) Decide NOT to follow or serve any strange or false god. c.) Serve the Lord with your spirit, soul and body. You must realize that any act of draw back or withdrawal from the Living God is like going after a futile mission. d.) Decide NOT to forsake God; our fountain of living water. To disdain Him is to dry-up suddenly. Friend, be rest assured that any attempt to draw away from God will surely turn you to wanderer and die spiritually or physically eventually. Hence, this year decide to stick closer to God of all grace(your source), no matter how things turn out to be. Ensure that you do not forsake God in your singular and multiple thoughts, conversation, action and inactions. That depict that you are God-reliant and you will not dare to forsake Him.
