GOD MADE ME LAUGH

DAILY GRACE TUES.17TH JAN, 2017 GOD MADE ME LAUGH GENESIS 21: 6 Top of a new day to you, God of all grace shall make you laugh today and beyond in the name Jesus Christ. " And Sarah said, God has made me laugh, so that all who hear will laugh with me." Sarah recognised the impression which the mercy of the God of all grace made upon her life, it really filled her with exceeding joy, which made her to boldly declare that “God has made me to laugh; he has given me both cause to rejoice and a heart to rejoice." By His grace this year, God of all grace shall grant you and I reasons to rejoice exceedingly. God often bestows mercies upon His people to encourage their joy in His work and service. Beloved, whatever is the matter of your joy, God must be glorified and acknowledged as the author of it, unless it be the laughter of the fool. When mercies have been long deferred, they are the more welcome in a special way when they come. And it often adds to the comfort of any mercy to have your friends rejoice with you in it. All that hear will laugh with you; for laughter is catching. Your neighbours and friends shall hear of numerous signs and wonders that God of all grace will do for you this year, and they will gather to rejoice with you, and praise the name of the Lord. It shall be a pious regard to God and they shall acknowledge that the Lord had magnified His mercy to you and your household. It was by His mercy to have her reproach taken away, a mercy to have her family built up and the become a parent of the whole nations. Many things concurred to make the mercy great-that she had been long barren, was now old, but especially that the child should be born after breaking the medical law. People rejoiced with Sarah, they rejoiced with her bountifully. We ought to take pleasure in the prosperity of our neighbours and friends, and to be thankful to God for their comforts as for our own. Others would rejoice in this instance of God’s power and goodness, and be encouraged to trust in him. Those who fear Him will be glad and others will rejoice with you. Enjoy your day!
