WASH YOURSELVES

DAILY GRACE THURS. 28TH JUNE, 2018. WASH YOURSELVES ISAIAH 1: 16 "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil." Many take precious time to seek the Lord daily without receiving any divine attention. Sin is really defiling to the soul, and the major expectation of God of all grace is to sincerely wash ourselves from it by repenting of it, and turning from it to the God of all grace. Thus, how can we worship God acceptably when there is within our nature something that, when it catches on fire, gives off not a fragrance but a smell? How can we hope to worship God acceptably when there is something in our nature which is undisciplined, uncorrected, unpurged, unpurified—which is evil and which will not and cannot help us worship God acceptably? We must make ourselves clean and cease to do evil of shedding innocent blood. Beloved, this critical instruction must be observed to the letter at this particular moment in order to learn to do well, secure answers to prayers, and ultimately render an acceptable worship unto God of all grace.
