THE FIRST WORKS REVELATIONS 2:5 "Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place--unless you repent." Everyone has record with the Sovereign God of all grace. This record contains all of our deeds; good and bad alike. The record of sin is cleansed with the blood of Jesus after salvation experience, hence a new record is kept afterwards. The record could include your first zealous activities and works for the Lord like; a.) Fervent zeal for the Lord and His works b.) Fervency in personal, cooperate fasting and prayer c.) Intercession for others d.) Soul winning of lost souls e.) Discipleship/follow-up f.) Giving to the less privileged, etc. Friend, have you stopped all of those things you used to do for the Lord after you got saved or you are still doing them. It does not matter if you are new in faith or not. You must keep bearing fruit that will remain in the Lord (John 15:16). The God of all grace is calling you to a deep repentance and amendment of your ways before Him now. Otherwise, He will remove your lampstand and once it is removed you will have no spiritual source, back up or root any longer and it shows that you will soon rotten and die off spiritually. Beloved, God of all grace is not happy over the souls of sinners that perish but that all men repent and come to Him in full repentance. Enjoy your day!!!
