AVOID FOLLY

DAILY GRACE SAT. 23RD JUNE, 2018. AVOID FOLLY PROVERBS 18:13 "He who answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him." God of all grace is the all Sovereign God, the all wise God and the eternal One. His wisdom is far beyond human comprehension. No wonder He confounds the wise, makes the diviners mad, catches the wise ones of this earth and makes them look foolish to themselves. He is so full of wisdom, He is wisdom Himself. As people who has found grace with Him through the blood of His dear Son (Jesus), we contract this divine wisdom as we spend time in the word of God daily. Hence, God expects us to also reflect this wisdom in all of our dealings in life. This is why it is mere foolishness and shameful to speak over an issue before having a full grasp of the whole matter. Thus, avoid folly! It is wise to be quick to hear and slow to speak, so as to speak edifying and profitable words that minister grace to the hearers. It is foolish to answer a matter before you hear it. Learn this wisdom from the God of all grace. Christ Jesus is the power and wisdom of God. Enjoy your day!!!
