THE LORD HEAR THEE

DAILY GRACE THUR. 5TH JULY, 2018. THE LORD HEAR THEE PSALMS 20:1 "The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee" The delight of our heavenly Father is to hearken to the voice of all His beloved children, especially in their times of need, trouble or agony when they cried unto Him. He does not desert them at such a time. The reasons this may not be so, could be as a result of the following; 1.) Harbouring sin in your heart and failing to confess sincerely and renounce them. 2.) When you fail to call upon Him in truth but rely on your own strength, wisdom and effort of others. 3.) When you fail to have faith in Him and in what He is able to do. 4.) When you stop having delight in God, His words and His precepts. 5.) Whenever you fail to live righteously through the righteousness of Christ Jesus. Self righteousness is nothing before God of all grace. Friend, you must know that our sufficiency is of the God of all grace. This is why we must rely solely and always on Him. As long as you call upon the Lord in truth He will hear you. And I bow my knee to pray for you today that as you call upon the Lord over that particular situation in your heart, may He hear you and grant you your heart desire according to His will and word in the name of Jesus Christ.
