THIRST FOR THE LIVING GOD

DAILY GRACE WEDS. 21ST FEB. 2018 THIRST FOR THE LIVING GOD PSALMS 42: 2 "My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" The desperation to allow the desire for the deceitfulness of riches may not help your desperate longing for the God of all grace. Because you have tasted His goodness, mercies, and it has both satisfied you and this must make you to thirst for Him more daily because of your basic need of more grace. Many are only thirsting for pleasures, immorality, and lukewarmness as they spend each day; and whatever you consistently thirst after will definitely shape your destiny and determine your fulfilment in life. If you're currently finding it difficult to appear before the Lord daily and personally; this is a sure sign of failure to thirst for God. Friend, ask the Lord to fill you with divine longing for Him, and grant you grace to rise and follow Him up from your misty lowland where you have wandered so long with a desire to be preoccupied with the things of this world.
