MOUNTAIN TO PRAY

DAILY GRACE FRI.16TH FEB. 2018 MOUNTAIN TO PRAY MARK 6: 46 "And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray." The departure of the Lord Jesus Christ to the mountain to pray is worthy of emulation, and very few of us know the secret of bathing our souls in silence in the secret place. It was a secret that our Lord Jesus Christ knew very well. There were times when He had to send the multitudes away so He could retire alone into the silence of the mountainside. Many are going and parading the mountain to pray today because of desire to glorify self, and not to seek the Lord personally. All of these are signs of erroneous doctrine and immaturity. There is a general abhorrence of being alone, of being silent before the Lord these days. Many nominal believers are shrinking from allowing their souls to be birthed for divine revelation, rather busy parading mountain to pray against their perceived enemies.
