ALONE WITH HIM

DAILY GRACE TUES.2OTH FEB. 2018 ALONE WITH HIM JOHN 6:3 "And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples." The Lord Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with His disciples, and they were also willing to be with Him just prior to the miraculous multiplying of the bread and fish. That fact is noteworthy by seeing Christ Jesus withdrew purposely from the great press of people who had been pursuing Him. There are some things that you and I will never learn when others are around us. I believe in gathering of the saints and I love the fellowship of the brethren to learn something important. But there are certain things that you and I will never learn in the presence of other people. Honestly, part of failure today is religious activity and mentality that is not preceded by aloneness, by inactivity. I mean getting alone with God of all grace and waiting in silence, quietness in His presence until you're fully charged with God's Spirit and Fire. Friend, being alone with Christ Jesus will surely help your spiritual growth as a Christian. When you spend a lot of time in the company of people without finding time to be alone with Christ Jesus in quietness and silence to wait for Him to fill you, then people can only take knowledge of you being with people but not with the Lord, and for people to take knowledge of you being with Him, you must be desperate to be alone with Him.
