IMITATE CHRIST

DAILY GRACE TUES.13TH FEB. 2018 IMITATE CHRIST 1 CORINTHIANS 11:1 " Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." The leaders often set the moral pace for the people. Whatever sort of man the leaders turned out to be, the people will soon following his step and leadership. In the Bible time, people followed David in the worship of Jehovah, Solomon in the building of the Temple, Jeroboam in the making of a calf and Hezekiah in the restoration of the temple worship. A good man may change the moral complexion of a whole nation; or a corrupt and worldly leader may lead a nation into bondage. Having discovered that Christianity today is what its leaders were in the recent past and is becoming what her present leaders are just today as the local church becomes like her pastor.  Meanwhile, that's a heavy responsibility for any leader to bear with the goal of becoming like Him. Friend, who exactly are you imitating daily? You must be desperate to imitate Christ Jesus in your daily pursuits in order to become like Him. Enjoy your day!!!
