FULL OF GOOD WORKS

DAILY GRACE MON.19TH FEB. 2018 FULL OF GOOD WORKS ACTS 9:36 "At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did." Tabitha was one of the followers of Christ Jesus, she was a woman of great faith and love. She loved the Lord wholeheartedly, this was evident in her relationship with people around her, especially the widow, poor and less privileged. She was not a woman that was that wealthy but was contented with what she had and also shared with others. She did it out of faith and love in God of all grace. Her good works was born out of her love for God of all grace and she never did it for show off or any eye service whatsoever. She was a faithful follower of the Lord indeed. She never loved only in words of mouth alone but showed it forth via her good works and charitable deeds in faith.(1 John 3:17-18). For love without action is nothing. Her good works spoke for her even after she had long died and she was brought back to life because of her good deeds. She was indeed a honourable, noble and faithful woman. Beloved, this is the true attribute we all must imbibe as good followers of Christ. God loves the world to the extent that he gave... Do you claim you love the Lord and fellow human being but you are not giving and sharing the wealth of this world in your power? That might not be love indeed! Friend, love the Lord, give generously to God and men when convenient and when not and the Lord will help and reward you more. Enjoy your day!!!
