DIVINE CHASTENING

DAILY GRACE WEDS. 28TH FEB. 2018 DIVINE CHASTENING HEBREWS 12: 11 "Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." A call to the Christian life is a call to be chastened of the Lord, the fact of being chastened is to expose one to the reality of life and process you for the throne. Christianity is a calling into the purity of life, thought and character to win the world back to God of all grace, and without this divine chastening, the pruning and refining process to chisel out the dross, the calling unto this holy lifestyle can not be fully fulfilled. The desire of God of all grace often is to make a man holy by blood, fire and sharp discipline. Then He calls the man to some special work and the man being holy makes that work holy in turn to the glory of His name. Beloved, divine chastening will fully cleanse a man from all sins, entirely make him surrender to the whole will of God and filled with the Holy Spirit. Then he will not be known as what he does, but as what he is. He will be a man of God first and anything else second. Enjoy your day!!!
