UPHOLD MY STEPS

DAILY GRACE SAT.12TH MAY, 2018 UPHOLD MY STEPS PSALMS 17:5 "Uphold my steps in Your paths, that my footsteps may not slip." Except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman watches only in vain. A man may works dutifully; but except God keeps him, he might fall into the ditch. So it is not the work of the man that works to order his steps but God's. It is a great thing of joy to see the Sovereign Lord being the One that orders and sustains a man as he takes each step daily; in all steps, choices and decisions made in life. This is true for every believer that surrenders his life to God of all grace through Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit takes over that work of "leading" as he daily guides and guards him according to the will of the Father. Every true believer must be leadable by the Holy Spirit.
