THE FLESH IS WEAK

DAILY GRACE THURS. 24TH MAY, 2018 THE FLESH IS WEAK MATHEW 26:41 "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." The reason for the weak nature of the flesh can only be revealed by the Spirit, and to comprehend what has happened to sound Bible teaching and preaching on Christian discipleship on spiritual life in these days are worrisome. Most teachers or preachers are making accommodation for the weak flesh by their messages daily by offering a take-it-easy, high sounding messages type of approach that does not seem ever to build a total man with a commitment to the One who is Lord and Saviour of all. More and more Christian believers are being drawn into a hazy, fuzzy kind of teachings in the name of the gospel, that assures everyone with Christianity without commitment. The Lord Himself takes stern and unpopular position that Christian believers should be engaged in watching and praying? When you are not sincere to provide answer to this question via your obedience to pray without ceasing couple with watching daily at His gate; the flesh will only become more weaker.
