DAILY GRACE THURS.11TH MAY, 2018. THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT EPHESIANS 4:3 "Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." The three key components that is often associated with unity are agreement, harmony, and oneness. The unity of the Spirit is quite different from the unity of the Flesh, which is not difficult to attain by many. The instruction to keep the unity of the Spirit is very difficult for many believers to comply with these days because many are not walking in the Spirit. And when you are not walking in the Spirit, you can not keep the unity of the Spirit. The word "endeavouring" shows that it must be a continuous pursuit and mandate to be at peace, and unity with one another. The reason the body of Christ has consistently being under the attack of the instrument of disunity with all the different perspectives and worship practices is because the unity of the Spirit is really lacking. Friend, unity of the Spirit can only be achieved by walking in the Spirit, love, faith, and grace that is in Christ Jesus. Enjoy your day!!!
