BE VIGILANT OF THE DEVIL

DAILY GRACE FRI. 4TH MAY, 2018 BE VIGILANT OF THE DEVIL 1 PETERS 5: 8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:" The chill of discouragement will settle over the heart of a man suffering from pain of unanswered prayers. If you continue to ask and ask and ask, like petulant children, never expecting to get what you ask for but continuing to whine for it, you will become chilled within your being. If you continue in your prayers and never get answers, the lack of results will tend to confirm the natural unbelief of our hearts because the human heart is filled with doubt or unbelief by nature. Perhaps worst of all is the fact that our failures in prayer leave the enemy in possession of the field. The worst part about the failure of a military drive is not the loss of men or the loss of face but the fact that the enemy is left in possession of the field. In the spiritual sense, this is both a tragedy and a disaster. Friend, you must be desperate to resist the devil, and the devil ought to be on the run as long as you're sure that the devil does not claim any field of your life. Enjoy your day!!! Personal confession: Father Lord, don't ever let the enemy claim any territory of my life as a result of doubt and unbelief in the name of Jesus Christ. Read, Reflect and Rebroadcast to bless others.
