DAILY GRACE THURS. 3RD MAY, 2018 DEPARTED FROM HIM 2 JUDGES 16: 20 "And .........Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him." The following factors (anti-favour agent) may cause divine favour to depart from the life of a man. 1.) *Disobedience to God:* Saul enjoyed the favour of God of all grace and was selected as the first king of Isreal, but through disobedeience, he lost the supernatural favour.(1Sam 15: 19-24) 2.) *Sexual Sin :* Samson lost the divine favour of God of all grace due to his immoral lifestyle. All kinds of sexual sins and immoral lifestyle will make a man to loose the supernatural favour. 3.) *Pride* : Satan was the anointed Cherub at the throne of God of all grace but he lost the highly placed position due to pride in his heart (James.4:5-6). 4.) *Stinginess and Lack of Giving:* Those that know how to give, especially to the poor are always abounding in the favour of God of all grace. 5.) *Lack of Faithfulness in the Service of God* If you are not faithful in the service of God of all grace, you may not enjoy divine favour. Noah was faithful and his family were favourably preserved. 6.) *Sowing the seed of wickedness:* The door of favour shall be shot against anyone sowing the seed of wickedness and bitterness against others. (Jugdes 1: 5-7). 7.) *Prayerlessness:* Prayer remains one of the most effective keys that unlocks the door of supernatural favour. When Esther prayed, she found favour before the king, likewise Nehemiah. Friend, decide to do away with of any the above that you may find in your life. Enjoy your day!!!
