WITHDRAW YOURSELF

DAILY GRACE MON.18TH SEPT. 2017 WITHDRAW YOURSELF 1 TIMOTHY 6: 3 "If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness" As Paul warns beloved Timothy to withdraw from those who corrupted the doctrine of Christ Jesus, and made it the subject of strife, debate, and controversy. I also want to admonish you to watch out and do wisely, withdraw yourself from such men because we have many preachers who are fond of heretic teachings; such people do not preach spiritually and practically. They do not teach and exhort that which is for the promotion of serious godliness. Also, those that will not consent to wholesome words; words that have a direct tendency to heal the soul and broken hearted.  Beloved, you are not required to consent to any words as wholesome words except the words of truth that accord godliness. You are admonished to give your unfeigned assent and consent to the doctrine which is according to godliness. The doctrine of our Lord Jesus is the doctrine according to godliness; it has a direct tendency to make you live a godly lifestyle. To be continued Enjoy your day!
