DAILY GRACE TUES.12TH SEPT. 2017 THE AGED WOMEN TITUS 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be reverent in behaviour, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things" The only instrument that can produce the aged women is the sound doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hence, the aged women must be: 1.) Reverent in behavior: To bear a good personal character of sobering and discretion in their judgement. Prov.2:11. 2.) Not Slanderers: Avoid idleness, wandering from house to house, busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. Not being a false accusers. Their business is to guide the house, and they should give no occasion to the enemy to speak reproachfully. 3.) Not given to wine: The older women must not give themselves to drunkenness, and luxury of alcoholic drink. 4.) Teachers of good things: The aged women must be ready to teach the young women, instructing and advising them in the Christian faith and basic duties to their family. The aged women often have better access than the men, even than ministers have, when it comes to the area of teaching the young female folks. They must therefore improve in instructing the young women, especially the young wives in this area.They must endeavour to teach the upcoming young women. The only way which quality values can be sustained from one generation to another is via the aged women who actually heed this sound doctrine of Christ Jesus. Enjoy your day!
