TOPIC: THE HEART CONDITION
TEXT:  PHIL. 2:5

Happy super Sunday to you beloved. The God of all grace will grant you the grace to have the mind of Christ, so as to be able to please God in Jesus' name.

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus."

The kingdom lifestyle is a way of life of the King (Jesus Christ) of the kingdom. Christ Jesus became  a servant, He served his disciples and refused to Lord it over them. He is the example of who the believers (true citizens) of His kingdom are to be (Phil 2:5, John 13:13-15).
As a member of Christ's kingdom with a kingdom lifestyle, we must enter into a Master-servant relationship with Him (Matt. 6:24).
He came to do His Father's will and in His day to day lifestyle, He displayed what the lifestyle of the kingdom is all about.i.e living to please God (Eph. 5:8)
Thus, we are to have his servant heart, just as He did. Though, many Christians dont like this concept because it seems to make one inferior to the other.

There are four golden truths about this  Master-servant relationship;
1.  There is freedom in slavery to God (Rom. 6:22,16-23, 1 Cor. 7:22). You are no longer bound by sins but you are now a slave to God (because you are obliged to obeying Him), since He is your Master.
2. There is greatness in being a servant (matt. 23:12, John 12:26). Your greatness is in the greatness of another.
3. There is exaltion in humility, for God lifts up the humble and abase the proud (Matt. 18:4, Pro. 29:23)
4. There is authority in submission (Luke 7:7-8, James 4:7).

Beloved, the lifestyle of the kingdom is an attitude of SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE to God. Therefore, our hearts condition must be aligned with the attitude of submission and obedience to God. This will make our kingdom lifestyle evident to men nd God will then be glorified.
