DAILY GRACE

TOPIC: BEAUTIFUL FEET
TEXT: ROM 10: 15

This day shall be a great day for you and God will be gracious unto your life and you will not stumble in Jesus name.
" And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!"
How welcomed the gospel ought to be to those it was preached to, because it showed the way to salvation. Apostle Paul quoted Isa. 52:7.
 Similar to the passage we have, Nah. 1:15; which, if it points at the glad tidings of the deliverance of Israel out of Babylon, yet looks further to the gospel, the good news of our salvation by Jesus Christ.

Let's consider the following for our discovery:
 (1.)  The gospel of peace is the word of reconciliation between God and man. GOSPEL (God's Only Son Pays Every Liability) for you.
On earth, peace is put in general for all good, thus it is glad tidings of good things. (Luke 2:14). The things of the gospel are good things indeed, the best things, tidings concerning you are the most joyful tidings, the best news that ever came from heaven to earth because of you, you must embrace it and never take it for granted.
(2.) As long as you have been saved, you must know that you are saved to serve and preach this gospel, to bring these glad tidings, to evangelize peace, to evangelize good things unto everyman.
You must be and do the work of an evangelist, you are not only a messenger to carry the news, but an ambassador to treat; and the first gospel preachers were angels, (Luke 2:13).
 (3.) How acceptable should you therefore be to the children of men for their sake. How beautiful are the feet, that is, how welcomed are they! Mary Magdalene expressed her love to Christ by kissing his feet, and afterwards by holding Him by the feet (Matt. 28:9). Also, when Christ was sending forth His disciples, He washed their feet with keen interest. Those that preach the gospel of peace should see to it that their feet i.e their life conduct and conversation be beautiful indeed: the holiness of preacher's lives of the gospel of Christ is the beauty of their feet.
