SPEECH WITH GRACE

DAILY GRACE
TUE. 20TH SEPT, 2016
TOPIC: SPEECH WITH GRACE
TEXT: COL. 4: 6

A Wonderful day to you. God will fill your mouth with His word  and cause your mouth to feed many nations in the name of Jesus Christ.
Whatever junction you experienced delay  before now, that cycle is destroyed now by the power of God in Jesus' name.
"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."
Let all your discourse be suitable to your profession- savoury, discreet, seasoned. It must be always of grace, it must be always with grace and there must be an air of piety upon it and it must be in a Christian manner seasoned with salt.

The word season with grace is the salt which seasons your discourse, makes it savoury and keeps it from corruption.
And that you may know how to answer everyone. One answer is proper for one man and another for another man (Prov. 26:4, 5). We have need of a great deal of wisdom and grace to give proper answers to every man, particularly in answering the questions and objections of adversaries against your faith confession; giving the reasons of your faith, and showing the unreasonableness of their exceptions.
Be ready always to give an answer to every man who ask you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear of the Lord (1 Pet. 3:15).

Filthy and unclean words and discourse are poisonous and infectious. As putrid rotten meat, they proceed from and prove a great deal of corruption within the heart of the speaker and tend to corrupt the minds and manners of others listening and therefore Christians should beware of all such discourse.
It may be taken in general for all that which provokes the lusts and passions of others. We must not only put off corrupt communications, but put on that which is good to the use of edifying others. The great use of speech is to edify those who hear us with keen attention. Christians should endeavour to promote a useful speech or conversation that it may minister grace unto the hearers and that it may be good for and acceptable to the hearers, in the way of information, counsel, and pertinent reproof.

Beloved, it is your great duty as a Christian to set a guard over your mouth and to offend not with your lips and thereby season your speech with grace and speak for the good of others and to the glory of God.
Enjoy your day!

Personal Confession:   Oh Lord my God, teach me how to speak with grace everyday in Jesus' name.

Read, Reflect and rebroadcast to bless someone. God will bless you in return.
