EVERLASTING JOY

TOPIC: EVERLASTING JOY
TEXT: JOHN 16:22

 Today is another day that the Lord has made to equip you with unending, everlasting, abundant  and unspeakable joy.  This is the joy that is intended to rest on you, be with you and in you and also to cause your life to turn around for exceeding joy, so much that everyone that comes in contact with you will also have cause to be joyful and to also rejoice with you because of what God has intended to do with your life.
And Jesus told his disciples, "So with you: Now is your time of grief, but l will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy".                     
              
     A disciple of Jesus Christ, is that individual who has made up his/her mind to deny himself of worldly lusts,pleasures, pick his cross and *follow Him* .
 In essence, he is a follower of Christ Jesus in all things (Eph. 5:1, Phil. 3:10). Beloved, if indeed you are a disciple of Christ, then you are entitled to the unlimited, abundant, unending, everlasting joy that Christ has brought for you (John 16:22).

 You see, it doesn't matter if the devil has brought recession,tears, calamity, tragedy, unrest or failure into your life. They won't thrive in your life if you don't acknowledge all the lies the devil is bringing to steal your joy away. This is because he is a big liar and father of it (1 John 2:8, John 8:44).                        What matters now to God of all grace is that, in as much as you are born again and you are a follower or imitator of Christ Jesus, all those challenges or problems you are facing is only for a while.
 They have expiry date because they are strangers and they must surely disappear as soon as you command them to do so in the name of Jesus (Ps. 18:44-45).

 In fact, in place of your grief, agony, difficulties, challenges or problems; Christ Jesus has brought unending  and exceeding joy for you. This joy is bound to be with you forever and no one (the Devil and his cohorts) do not have the audacity to steal or take it away from you. It is ordained to stay with you for lifetime (in as much as you continue as a follower/disciple of Christ Jesus). This makes this joy to be everlasting joy indeed.
   Friend, kindly note that this everlasting joy cannot be your portion if you don't have a relationship with God of all grace through Jesus. Hence, the reason you need to invite Jesus Christ into your heart and surrender all unto Him for discipleship now!!!.
