FRIEND OF GOD

DAILY GRACE THURS. 11TH JAN, 2018 FRlEND OF GOD JAMES 2: 23 "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the friend of God." The higher privilege and experience granted to mankind on earth to be admitted into the circle of the friends of God is an awesome one indeed, and the idea of divine-human friendship and relationship originated from the God of all grace. Since God claims us for His friends, it is an act of unbelief to deny the offer of such a glorious relationship. Abraham demonstrated an obedient and faithful walk of faith with the God of all grace, which qualified him to assume such status of relationship with Him. Beloved, you can only truly become a friend of God of all grace by making increasingly move into the intimate joy of experiencing Him as a personal Friend via obedience, faithfulness, selflessness, and rejecting friendship with the world and its lust throughout this year.
