THE BORROWED AXE

DAILY GRACE THURS. 3RD NOV. 2017 THE BORROWED AXE 2 KINGS 6:5 "But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed." The story of the floating and lost axe head illustrates God's interest, concern and care for you in what might look as an insignificant matter and event of your everyday life. This borrowed axe was an expensive iron axe head, which was a very expensive tool, and this poor man felt keenly responsible for the lost borrowed axe. The miracle of recovery served the following lessons: 1.) To demonstrate the power of God of all grace at work through His servant. 2.) To communicate God's passion and heart of compassion for the man in his challenge. 3.) It confirms God's servant's authority and ministry. 4.) To double the faith of the younger prophets with God's servant. 5.) To manifest the restoration grace of recovery. Enjoy your day! Personal Confession: Father Lord, l declare recovery of all the good things I have lost in life in Jesus' name.
