BE VIGILANT

DAILY GRACE WEDS. 22 NOV. 2017 BE VIGILANT 1 PETER 5: 8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." As you make further progress and mount higher up in the Christian life and jouney, you may expect or encounter greater difficulties in the way and meet increase hostility from the enemy of your soul (the Devil). Let's share briefly on some few reasons Satan hates the true and faithful Christian. 1.) Because God of all grace loves you, and whatever is loved by God of all grace is sure to be hated by the devil. 2.) Every true child of God of all grace bears a family resemblance with the Father and the household of faith. Thus, Satan's ancient jealousy has not abated nor his hatred for God's people declined. 3.) A true Christian is a former slave who has escaped from the trap and galley, and Satan is not willing to forgive him for this affront. 4.) A praying Christian is a constant threat to the stability of Satan's kingdom. The faithful Christian is a holy rebel on the earth with access to the throne of grace, and Satan never knows from which direction the danger will come to deal with his trick. Enjoy your day!
