THE ANOINTED ONE

DAILY GRACE MON.26TH DEC, 2016 TOPIC: THE ANOINTED ONE TEXT: ACTS 10:38 The Messianic Son of God was prophesied by Prophet lsaiah and it all came to pass as it was said of Him. He came in the fullness of the anointing of the Holy Ghost. " How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him". His name is called Immanuel (God with us). Jesus would not have succeeded in His earthly ministry without the incubation and the empowerment of the Holy Ghost in His life. Look at these wholesome truths; a.) He was conceived by the Holy Ghost (Luke 10:38). b.) He was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil (Luke 4:1-2). c.) He was empowered by the Holy Ghost to fulfil all His mission statements in Luke 4:18-19. d.) He was ministered to by the Holy Spirit on the mount of Gethsemane as he was preparing to die on the cross (Matt. 26:38-39). It was the Holy Spirit that rose Him up from the dead. He is called Jesus because He will save His people from their sins (Matt. 1:21). He is Jesus, the Christ (the anointed One of God). The Holy Ghost empowered him in the fulfillment of his destiny. Jesus Christ is highly anointed for the sole purpose of saving His people from their sins, oppression, darkness, burdens and eternal damnation. You also need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit in order to fulfil your destiny. You can't afford to enter the new year without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit if truly you want to fulfill your destiny.
