TOPIC: PREACH THE GOSPEL
TEXT: MARK 16: 15

God of all grace shall give His angels charge over you to keep you today and beyond.

Beloved, the above text indicate the commission which Christ Jesus gave us to set up His kingdom among men by the preaching of His gospel of grace, the glad tidings of reconciliation to God through a Mediator. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

To whom are we to preach the gospel unto?  We are to preach the gospel to every creature and by now our commission is enlarged, and we are authorized to go into all the world, into all parts of the world, the habitable world, and to preach the gospel of Christ to every creature, to the Gentiles as well as to the Jews, to every human creature that is capable of receiving it.

What should be the content of our preaching? We are sent by Christ to inform them concerning Christ through our conduct and character, also the history of Christ's life, death, and resurrection; instruct them in the meaning and intention of these, and of the advantages which the children of men have, or may have, hereby and invite them, without exception, to come and share in them. This is total gospel .

We must send others to those places where we could not go ourselves, and in short, make it our business to send those glad tidings up and down the world with all possible fidelity and care, and with all our resources not as an amusement or entertainment, but as a solemn message from God of all grace to men, and an appointed means of making men ready for eternity. Have you made this to be business of your life?

Tell as many as you can in your street, offices, and bid them to tell others, it is a message of universal concern, and therefore ought to have a universal welcome, because it gives a universal peace.
