DAILY GRACE
SUN. 27TH MARCH, 2016
TOPIC: HE IS RISEN
TEXT: Matt. 28:4-9
                     
  Halleluyah! He is risen, He is alive forevermore. Jesus won the victory over death and help. He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men. He Is the reason for our existence and eternal hope (Col. 1:27). If the devil knew that Christ's death on the cross would bring eternal victory to Christ and buy man back to God, He would not have crucified him (1 Cor. 2:8). Alas! He has made that grave mistake already and he will live to regret it eternally.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death" (Rev. 12:11).
Christ Jesus is risen, He is no longer among the dead. He ever lives, sits at the right hand of the Father (God), making intercession for us (Rom. 8:34, Heb. 7:25). From verse 5-8 of our text today, "the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you.... . Wao! What a Great evidence that Christ lives, He was seen first by those women and He later appeared to His disciples.
 In fact, the Angel that appeared to those women, admonished them to go out quickly to tell the disciples that Jesus is risen, while that was happening, Jesus Himself appeared to His disciples and spoke with them (vs. 9). Beloved, you are also enlisted by God to go all out, witnessing to people around you that Christ is alive for evermore and this is our hope. He is the reason for this season. By Him all things were created and nothing exists  were not created by Him (Col. 1:16). Apostle Paul said, "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable(pitiable)" (1 Cor. 15:19). We can boldly say we have hope in Him seeing that He lives forevermore. Remember that He lives, even till now and forevermore just because He rose from the dead. It is my sincere prayer that every good thing that is dead in your life receives the life of Christ Jesus now in Jesus name.
