WATCH AND PRAY

DAILY GRACE FRI. 8TH JUNE, 2018 WATCH AND PRAY MATTHEW 26:41 "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Having a hard time trying to comprehend what has happened to sound Bible teaching in our days because many are not willing to endure sound and balance doctrine. What has happened to preaching on Christian discipleship and on our daily deportment in the spiritual life? We are offering a take-it-easy, pollyanna type of approach that does not seem ever to have heard of total commitment to One who is our Lord and Savior. More Christian believers are being drawn into a hazy, fuzzy kind of teaching and sporadic false message that create a false boldness them. Many are not watchful anymore to the extent of praying. They are so busy spreading false alarm on social media but lack deeper commitment towards aggressive and personal evangelism. The Lord take the stern and unpopular position that Christian believers should be engaged in watching and praying rather than becoming so lukewarm and fearful. May the Lord help you to watch and pray faithfully and also to boldly challenge to total commitment daily. Enjoy your day!!!
