DO GOOD AND SHARE
DAILY GRACE
SUN.10TH JUNE, 2018.
DO GOOD AND SHARE
HEBREWS 13:16
"But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."
Good deed is a ministry for a believer, while for an unbeliever he is merely a philanthropist, even though they do the same good deeds. Whenever a believer engages in this act, his sole aim should be to draw men to God (this is why it's a ministry). No one on earth is actually too poor to give. God is highly pleased with this kind of good deeds and sacrifice. Your good deeds can also be a sacrifice especially when you give out when it is not that convenient. However, the greatest giver of all is the God of all grace. He gave His own very essence to mankind who is naturally wicked in heart and in acts. Yet, He never withheld His beloved Son from making sacrifice for you and me through His death. This is one of the reason He wants you to also be a giver, to reflect His nature in you to others around you.
Beloved, when you fail to give and share with others, you are gradually becoming a stagnant stream that will soon start to smell but whenever you make it continuous habit and allow it flow to people who need what you have; then fresh water will keep coming from divine source (God) to you at all times and you will never lack anything good.
What do you think you have currently that is too big to give out? Check it, that thing will soon become an idol to you because you will so much adore it that it will occupy your whole heart.
Make it a practice henceforth to *always do good* and *share with those that lack* because there is nothing you have now which you haven't received from the giver of all.
Enjoy your day!!!
Personal Confession: Lord Jesus, empower me to do good and share with others at all times in Jesus' name.
Read, Reflect and Rebroadcast to bless others.
