DELIVERED FROM THE LAW

DAILY GRACE MON. 4TH JUNE, 2018 DELIVERED FROM THE LAW ROMANS 7:6 "But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter." The law held us tight, accountable and mastered over us, for we were once enslaved to it. But it never helped us rather it showed us how sinful and helpless we were without the help of God of all grace. Thanks be to God who through His only begotten Son delivered us totally and gave us a new life in Him. Beloved, every believer in Christ were once held by the law, but now we have been delivered from it so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter which kills and gives no life. Therefore, it is through only service in this new life that Christ gives that we can please the Father and we get this life by believing in God of all grace through His Son, Christ Jesus. After all, if you keep the whole law but fail in one you are guilty in all. (Jam. 2:10). The law brings condemnation while the new life in Christ Jesus gives new life and freedom indeed. This is the law of the Spirit, hence no more condemnation any longer. (Rom. 8:1-2). If you have Jesus, you fulfil the law already. Enjoy your day!!!
