WHERE CAN I GO?

DAILY GRACE
SAT. 6TH AUG. 2016
TOPIC: WHERE CAN I GO?  
TEXT: PSALM 139:7
                  
 Happy weekend to you. God will cause His face to shine upon you and your household. He will also shield you away from the fiery darts of all your enemies.   
   Dearly beloved, where do you think you can run away to from the presence of God? To the heavens? surely God is there.
 Is it to the depths, underneath the ground?
He is also present there. What if you rise on the wings of the dawn, or settle on the far side of the sea? Even there the hand of the Lord will guide you and His right hand will hold you fast. What about the thickest part of the world, even in the darkness, so much so that the light becomes night around you?
 God is there too, for the darkness is like light to Him. After all, He himself is a light that shines in darkness and the darkness does not comprehend it.

He is the light that brightens all men (John 1:4-5). You sure cannot hide from God, you may cover your sins and say nobody knows. Even still, be very sure God sees you and knows you for He created your inmost being and knitted you together in your mother's womb (Psa. 139:13).
 But, if we confess our sins and forsake them,  He is just and faithful to forgive us all our sins, but if we say we have no sins we make God a liar (1 John 1:8-10).
God is faithful to pardon our sins, if we confess and forsake them. Remember, whosoever covers his sins shall not prosper (Pro. 28:13).     
    Beloved, it is better to own up to God and naked yourself before Him so as to obtain mercy from Him; than to be running helter skelter. And the pathetic thing is that there is no where you can run to that His spirit is not there. It is my prayer that you will honestly go down on your knees, even now to plead for mercy in His presence and He will abundantly pardon.
