TOPIC: WHERE ARE YOU 4?
TEXT: GEN. 3:9

This day, the Lord will cause you to know the main purpose of your living and help you fulfil it in Jesus' name.
Starting from where we paused yesterday on the various consequences of not keeping to our divine instructions;
8. It also deprives you of all the benefits embedded in keeping divine instructions given for your specific assignment.
 Beloved, these divine instructions could be a general one stated in the scriptures given to all believers or it could be the one God given to you personally, either through His words or through His servant.
You must make up your mind to keep every of your divine instructions, for it is in keeping them that your joy and fulfillment lies.
9. It makes you to have a wrong focus, perception of divine blessings and endowments that He has given to you. Initially, Adam saw his wife as bone of his bone saying she was taken from him (Gen. 2:23), but later saw her as the mother of all living (Gen. 3:20)-wrong perception.
10. It makes you dead to spiritual things (Gen. 2:17). You will lack the ability to know and understand spiritual things because your spiritual perception is dull.
11. It opens you up to sinful lifestyle that cannot guarantee your fulfilment(Gen. 3:7).
12. It opens you up to attack from
 the Satan, and curses, spell, jinx and enchantments could easily penetrates into
 your life (Gen. 2:17).
13. It causes divine order to be sometimes change. Originally, the ground was to bear fruits and herbs for man (Gen. 1:29) but the same land was cursed to bring forth thorns and thistles which was contrary to divine original plan (Gen. 3:18). Man was not supposed to toil before eating (Gen. 2:28-30; 3:19).
14. It opens you up to God's permissive will. Man was clothed  with the glory of God initially not with fig trees (Gen. 3:21; 2:7; 1:26). The ground was to honor man and bring forth its kind as food for man, but he now has to toil on it before getting things that should easily have become his own.
15. It sends you away from God's presence and provision to the cares of life where you have to fend for yourself at the expense of God bringing all you need at your disposal, even without asking (Gen. 3:23).
16. It puts enmity between man and God and it makes man not to have access to God's provision any longer (Gen. 3:23-24). But, thanks to Jesus for redeeming us from this enmity with God and reconciling us with God Almighty.

Beloved, you have seen here that all the results of neglecting any divine instruction  given to us is highly costly and negative in nature. Hence, you must make up your mind not to fault at any of your God-given instructions and as you do this, your joy becomes unlimited and you begin to progress and be fulfilled in life.
Friend, where are you in that particular instruction that God has given you? Are you obeying it partially or completely?
