TOPIC:  GOD TEMPTS NO ONE
TEXT: James 1:13
                         
 Happy Sunday to you.
 God will speak forth  His rest into  every area of your life in Jesus' name.
Beloved, it might surprise you to know that God does not tempts any man. You need to also realize that when temptation comes, it comes when we have allowed the devil to deceive us in our hearts. If the devil succeeds in your thought, he has won the battle over you. This is why anytime he brings evil desires or thoughts contrary to God's word to your heart, you need to resist and rebuke it with the word of God. You don't have to fight the devil's thought with thought in your heart, rather speak forth the word of God against it.
  Resist and rebuke the devil and he will flee from you. God does not bring temptations your way.
Temptation comes like a bait, snare or trap for you. The sole aim of the devil is to make you fall into it but the Bible says, our souls are escaped like a bird from the hands of the fowler. The SNARE is broken and we are ESCAPED (Psa. 124:7). Can you see that? We are escaped from any temptation that comes either as a result of the evil desires of our hearts which originates from the devil or wherever. We are escaped!                      You need to know that when any temptation comes, it comes to you when; 
 (a) You are drawn away from God by your own desires.                     
(b) You are enticed or lured by the devil into secret ungodliness.
 The devil comes to call a black, blue substance red and white for you and you fall for his trick.
This was how he got Eve by luring her. You must arise and say no to the devil's temptation in your life. You don't have to permit it in your life, since it does not come from God.
 It is ONLY good and perfect gift that comes from God and not temptation (James 1:17). Hence, arise to resist and rebuke the devil and his evil work in your life via your daily godly conduct and desperate confession of God's Word. You are a winner already in Christ Jesus. Enjoy your day!
