TOPIC: THINK & TALK LIKE HIM
TEXT: ROM. 12:2

This is the day the Lord has made, for we will rejoice and be glad in it.
 As a believer, you have everything made available and ready for you in Christ Jesus.
God says to us from the text above "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God".
God wants to open our eyes to an aspect in this text and it is that, as believers we have some key responsibilities to do which will launch us into the best realities of what God's word has for us.
I will be highlighting those responsibilities you must do in order to have an expected end that God has in mind for all of His children (Jer. 29:11).              
1. Be not conformed to this world. This is a way the world (unbelievers) thinks, acts or reacts to issues of life but if we must have God  kind of results, you must change your thinking pattern.
This is what you should think about, and by extension confess; contrary to the world's view (Phil 4:8), "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things".          
2. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. How do you do this?
This is done by aligning your thoughts to what the word of God says and must be consistently done daily. Phil. 2:5, says let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. To allow the kind of Christ's mind to be in you is to subject your mind to the word of God which is God Himself (John 1:1-5).
  The whole essence of doing the above is merely to PROVE what is good, acceptable and what the perfect will of God is in every situations of our lives. Do not be deceived beloved, it is ONLY  in God's word that you can find those attributes (good, acceptable and the will of God).
