TOPIC: MIRACLES OF GRACE
TEXT: JOHN 2: 11

Welcome to a new week, miracles of grace is for you and your household in Jesus' name.

From the scripture text above, this was the beginning of miracles which Jesus did. Many miracles had been wrought concerning Him at his birth and baptism, and He himself was the greatest miracle of all but this was the first that was wrought by Him. He could have wrought miracles when he disputed with the doctors, but His hour was not come. He had power, but there was a time of the hiding of His power.  That herein He manifested His glory, hereby he proved Himself to be the Son of God, and His glory to be that of the only-begotten of the Father. He also discovered the nature and end of His office, the power of God, and the grace of a Saviour, appearing in all His miracles, and particularly in this, manifested the glory of the long-expected Messiah.

 I believe that miraculous is the work of God of all grace that is wonderfully revealed to the senses of men in order to achieve divine agenda among men on earth. The miracles of grace are perceived through the perception of those who behold it. And miracles of grace are defined in various forms in the Greek and they are;
1. Teras, it means, ‘wonders’ impact upon the heart  of men. Acts 2:22,43
2. Semeion, it means ‘signs’ which point to God who did it. Mark 16:20
3. Dunamis, it means ‘power’ supernatural that work it. Matt. 12:28, Act. 19:11
4. Ergon, it means ‘work’ which is made manifested where God dwells. John 5:36, 6:28.
Also, His disciples believed on Him as a result of these signs which He performed  (John 2:11). Those whom He had called, who had seen no miracle, and yet followed Him, now saw this, shared in it, and had their faith strengthened by the miracles of grace.
Even the faith that is true is at first but weak. The strongest men were once babes, so were the strongest Christians and the manifesting of the glory of Christ is the great confirmation of the faith of Christians. As you believe in the possibility of miracles of grace, your life will not remain the same again.
