THE LORD, MY SHEPHERD

DAILY GRACE TUES. 24TH JULY, 2018 THE LORD, MY SHEPHERD PSALMS 23:1 "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." The believers and unbelievers recite this popular Scripture without having an indepth understanding of it. Accepting Jesus Christ is in two phases; 1.) As Saviour: Christ Jesus came purposely to save His people from their sins and everyone who acknowledges Him, He will in no wise cast away no matter what. He saves man from sins, self and the Satan. However, after He must have saved you, you must strive to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. 2.) As Lord: Apart from saving you, you must enthrone Him in your life as your Shepherd, Master, and Instructor. His will will be yours, His command must be your action and at His words you move, live and have your being. It is at this point that you begin to grow in Him daily. You begin to pattern your life according to His will. It is a pity that many believers, who are saved by the Saviour have not enthroned Jesus as the Lord of their lives. Many are yet to recognize His divine ownership over them. This is why most are merely religious without knowing the God they claim to serve. Beloved, God of all grace has not called any man to religious ritual, as it can't save any man, rather it enslaves. The Lord has called everyone into personal relationship with Him. This is what guarantees your personal knowledge of God of all grace and your growth in Him. Enjoy your day!!!
