BE SEPARATE

DAILY GRACE THURS. 9TH AUG, 2018 BE SEPARATE 2 CORINTHIANS 6:17 "Therefore, "Come out from among them and be separate," says the Lord. "Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."" The believer's mightiest influence is felt when such believer is different from the world, and its practices. The power of influence lies in being different, rises with the degree in which the believer differs and sinks as the difference diminishes. This is so fully and clearly taught in the Scriptures and so well illustrated in history of christian faith that it is hard to see how we can miss it. Some do say constantly that the believer can try to be as much like the world as possible, except of course, where the world is too, too sinful which is contradictory and cannot give the expected faithfulness from God. The cross is the symbol of Christianity, and the cross speaks of death and separation, never of compromise. No one ever compromise with a cross. The cross separates between the darkness and the light. The timid and the fearful will not dare to be different. The message of Christ is a call across a gulf from death to life, from sin to righteousness and from Satan to God.  Dare to be separate! Enjoy your day!!! Personal Confession: Father Lord, help me to be willing to be different. Forgive me for the sin of blending in with the world. Lord Jesus keep me different in Jesus name.
