RAISED WITH HIM

DAILY GRACE MON.2ND APRIL, 2018 RAISED WITH HIM COLOSSIANS 2: 12 "Buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead." Glory be to God of all grace, praise be unto His name for the victory granted through the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Buried with Christ as the object of our victory and faith in God of all grace is a very significant metaphor. As a believer in Christ, you are buried with Christ in baptism when He died, and also risen with Him in faith. Don't forget that baptism remind you of your union with the Christ Jesus in His death and resurrection by which you receive the power of God of all grace to live a new creation life. The celebration of Easter will not be meaningful in your life until you bring the impact of being buried with Him and raised with Him into practice by knowing and acknowledging that you must bury your old life of sin, and rise up to a new life of purity, purpose, and power. Friends, being raised with Christ Jesus, implies that you must be dead to activities of Mr. Self (Col.3:5), and begin to seek those things or set your mind on the things above. Enjoy your day!!!
