COSTLY GRACE

DAILY GRACE MON. 9TH APRIL, 2018 COSTLY GRACE TITUS 2:11 "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men" Let's continue from where we stopped yesterday on the series of the grace that saved us. The grace that saved us is a costly one. It cost the Son of God His blood and life but it is a perfect one that makes us holy, righteous, blameless and spotless before God of all grace. This is a grace with discipleship with the Lord. This grace teaches believers to do the following; 1.) Deny All Ungodliness: Strive to live a godly life as opposed to ungodly life as one who has truly received the costly grace. It pays to stay and live godly! 2.) Deny Worldly Lust: intentionally do away with all lusts. Be it lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and all pride of life. This entails all the works of the flesh.(Gal 5:19) 3.) Live Soberly: You're designed by God of all grace to live a simple and modest life everywhere and at all times via this grace. 4.) Live Righteously: Through Christ's righteousness, believers are made righteous before God of all grace and that also establishes your right standing with Him. You must pay the price for holiness without compromise. 5.) Live Godly: Live your life with focus of becoming like Him, because you are gods and also son of the Most High. Friend, the costly grace is available and sufficient for all believers in Christ Jesus alone, and through this grace, you're no longer permitted to live for "self" anymore but for Him (Gal.2:20). Also, you are to live to please God of all grace as a proof of receiving this grace that empowers you to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Enjoy your day!!!
