A SKILLED MAN

DAILY GRACE FRI.18TH NOV, 2016 TOPIC: A SKILLED MAN TEXT: PROV. 22:29 Thank God it's another weekend. Your heavens of greatness, favour and divine reckoning will be opened in Jesus' name. May you receive the help of God in Jesus' name. "Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank". Permit me to say that deligency is the act of being consistently skilled at what you do. It doesn't give room for laziness, laxity, boredom or being a busy body. It calls for a serious hard work, if you must sit with kings. You must know that Christianity itself is not a lazy relationship but a great work in itself. Hence, you must work out your salvation with fear and trembling. To sit with kings is to sit with people that matters for your destiny fulfillment. These are people that will crown your effort and cause your joy to be full. They are people that you must never miss on your destiny journey in lfe. Deligence took Joseph to the palace and he was able to sit with kings and became a governor. How about Daniel, the man that believed in the God whom he served coupled with his fellow hebrew men. Their deligency and their devotion to God coupled with their service to humanity caused God to be honoured in their lives so much that the king declared that their God is the true God and that everyone should serve their God. How about Ruth, who went on an unknown journey but believed that her deligency, faith and perseverance will bring her to the limelight. No wonder she becane an acestress of Jesus. Apostle Paul, Peter, other apostles and even Jesus Himself showed the great example of deligency. Beloved, you should know that Christianity is not and would never be a lazy relationship or lifestyle. Christianity is not a religion par say. Religion itself is man's way of reaching to God but can never satisfy God with it. This is because your strength, effort and good deeds can never save you. While relationship is God's way of saying to you that l know you are mere man that is so sinful, yet l have given to you my Son as an atonement; just accept my offer and be free. Be diligent at your work/business, home, minstry, church, career and everywhere and on everything you do. God be with you and grant you understanding. Enjoy your day!
