Top of a brand new day to you, every hidden net your enemies have set for you and your household shall catch fire in Jesus' name.
Making progress from where we paused yesterday, the church is a chosen people of God (ecclesia); that stands in relation to God through Christ as the Mediator.
Christ called His disciple "Peter" (Petros, meaning a small stone), but goes further to say, "upon this rock(Petra, meaning a massive rock or a rocky cliff) l will build my church,"
i.e Christ Jesus will build His church on Peter's confession.
Christ is THIS ROCK, the first and great foundation of the church (1Cor. 3:11).
Jesus Christ is the living stone, a chief cornerstone and the stone which the builders disallowed.
Being a Christian qualify you to be a living stone, which becomes part of the structure of the spiritual house that God is building (1Pt. 2:5).
The Builder and Maker of the church is Christ Himself. The church is a temple which Christ is the Builder of it by Himself (Zech. 6: 11,13).
By the working of His Spirit with the preaching of His word. He adds souls to His church, and so builds it up with the living stones.
Beloved, you are God’s building and building is a progressive work.  It is a comfort to all those who willingly submit themselves to Christ, who has divine wisdom and power to build them.
