TOPIC: GOD SPEAKS ONCE 2
 TEXT: PS. 62:11
   
  Glory be to God in the highest. Let's thank Him for the preservation of our souls.
We are continuing from where we stopped yesterday.
        Beloved, recall the text for our consideration; "God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God". How come is it that God speaks once and we get to hear it twice?
 You need to know that God has His role to perform (to speak once to you).
You also have the responsibility of ensuring you keep hearing what God has said so many times as you desire it.
But what do you have to do to fulfil this role. Remember, Rom. 10:17 says, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Look at the emphasy; "hearing and hearing".
You need to know that destiny journey requires consistent and diligent writing.
You might wonder,
what kind of writings. 
It is the judicious writing and jotting down of God's dealings with you via His words.
 Are there personal and specific words He has spoken?
The prophecy that came to your spirit man while observing your quiet time or during cooperate service?
Is there a particular pattern God has related or revealed Himself to you in the past?
All these must be written down. The reason for this is because spiritual things are slippery. The moment it comes to your spirit or you receive from Him, there is need to write it down. Your destiny is spiritual and so you must treat it so. See what Hab. 2:2-3 says; "And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time(Kairos), but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."         
The vision (God's word- spoken or revealed to you through His word), is for an appointed time.

The benefits of writing down God's word spoken to us are numerous, some of which are;  
1. It helps you to remember in details.
2. It puts a sense of accountability and seriousness on you.
3. It makes instruction given to you plain or simple to understand.
 
. It avails you the opportunity to keep hearing that word spoken to you times without number. This is what makes you hear God many times as possible.
5. It makes faith rise and rooted in you.
6. It helps you to run the race of destiny without distraction and confusion.
7. It builds your confidence in God of all grace.
