REST ON EVERY SIDE

TOPIC: REST ON EVERY SIDE  
TEXT:  2 CHR. 14:7
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Happy Glorious sunday to you. The Lord will do you good in this new week.  The Lord has come with a word for you  and it is found in our text of today. Look at what it says, "Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered."
Beloved, the key to having rest on every side  of your life is to seek the Lord.
To seek involves rigorous searching for a thing and after finding it you cherish, tend and keep it. Isaiah, the prophet said, in Isaiah 55:6 that you should "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near".
No one decides to seek the Lord and fails to  find rest of mind. You need to take concious decisive step to seek the  Lord in order to have rest on all sides.
