OBEYING THE LORD

DAILY GRACE 25TH SEPT, 2017 OBEYING THE LORD 1 SAM. 15: 22 "But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams." Beloved, it a great day and I know God has great things in store for you this week. You will do yourself good to tap into those great things by simply obeying the dictates of the Lord. To walk with God and please Him, can only be achieved by living a life of total obedience to God of all grace. To please God can not be achieved by sacrificing rams, bulls or pigeon but by simply obeying the dictates of the Lord. Friend, what exactly is God telling you through His Spirit to do or to observe? You are certain about it but you are reluctant of stepping out in faith in Him. It is your faith in God of all grace that will strengthen your obedience to Him. In obeying the Lord in totality, you need to submit your will to Him. Don't Substitute Praying for Obeying the Lord. Perhaps, you have been trying to substitute prayers for simple obedience you need to demonstrate on that matter, be rest assured that it won't work out until you decide to obey the Lord.
