DAILY GRACE WEDS.15TH FEB, 2017 MY NAME JOHN 16: 24 Welcome to a new day of peace beyond measure for you and your family in Jesus' name. "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." Assurance of definite answer to their request is here promised by Jesus Christ, which can only be guaranteed only in His name for their comfort. There are two ways of asking: asking by way of enquiry, which is the asking of the ignorant and asking by way of request, which is the asking of the indigent. By way of enquiry, they should not need to ask according to the preceding verse “In that day you shall ask me nothing;” —you shall ask no questions; “you shall have such a clear knowledge of gospel mysteries, by the opening of your understandings, that you shall not need to enquire. They had asked some ignorant questions (as John 9:2), some ambitious questions (as Matt. 18:1), some distrustful ones (as Matt. 19:27), some impertinent ones, (as John 21:21), some curious ones (as Acts 1:6). He exposed their wrong pattern of asking without asking in His name. Friend, perhaps you have been asking without receiving until now, check it well, are you truly asking in the name of the only begotten Son of the Father? Asking the Father in the name of Jesus Christ is very important, because it guarantees accelerated answers accompanied with complete joy that eliminate the sorrow and bitterness of soul. Asking through His name is a golden key to access the Father for answered prayers. Dare to ask in the name of Jesus Christ and receive amazing results . Enjoy your day!
