FORGIVE!

DAILY GRACE FRI. 3RD MAR, 2017 FORGIVE! MARK 11: 25 Beloved, the Lord will open the book of remembrance to you today in Jesus' name. "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses" One of the requirements for answered prayer is forgiveness. The rule is quite simple but sometimes hard to practice with human effort, except with the help of the Holy Spirit. The truth is that whatever you sow, you will reap. So if you fail to forgive those who wrong you, then God will not overlook or forgive your own sins too. Actually, the act of forgiving your fellow human being is to your own advantage, being that you will enjoy open heavens of answered prayers and God of all grace will forgive yours too. The reverse is also true that when you fail to forgive others, God will not forgive you nor answer your prayers. Since, it is for man to pray and God's to answer prayers, you ought to remove all bitterness, and bickering that may constitute the stumbling blocks from your ways, so that as you pray you will enjoy answers to your prayers. Beloved, who has hurt you or done evil against you that you think you can never forgive? What exactly is that issue? You need to ask for the grace from the Lord today. You need to lay it all down at the feet of the cross. May God help and strengthen your heart. Enjoy your day!
